Founded upon a systemic and integrated conception of Heritage, the SfaxForward project pursues an interdisciplinary and participatory approach to research, with the goal of critically surveying, perennializing, promoting and developing the rich archaeological, historical, civilizational and artistic Heritage of Southern Tunisia. To that end, Sfaxforward plans to make the Maghreb House of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sfax a centre of excellence for the study of Cultural Heritage.
